Annual Retreat

Thank you, to all that attended our 2013 YNSM Annual Retreat!

It was indeed a time of fellowship and refreshment.  I am excited about how God will use this weekend in the lives of those who attended.

Here’s what people are saying!

  •  The YNSM retreat exceeded my expectations! Old passages that I’ve read for years were fresh again. Fellowship was great and new friendships were forged. I’m Encouraged and thankful this morning.             Jay Elkins
  • Do you know we manage to do the things in life that mean the most to us? Well how about this?? Sometimes the things that mean the most to
me, are the things that I have to fight to get to, past the struggle and roadblocks, Sometimes I know I need to go Simply because the Devil said its to hard Just stay home. “You need to rest.” Well Thank God I did not listen this past weekend. I was plucked right out of my comfortzone and placed right into the middle of a beautiful and uplifting retreat. I truly believe God had a hedge of protection around the room that held many of his wounded warriors. Not all wounded some just battle fatigued. But none the less GOD showed up, to fill up, release, and restore. Such an amazing weekend that I felt the need to carry it on to Monday morning listening to Jeremiah Jones on the way to work.

  • Time is going so fast and I realize that it is now going to be two weeks
since the YNS Retreat. The retreat always serves the purpose of
refocusing me for the new year and helps me evaluate the past year.
This year’s retreat theme of Spiritual Gifts really reawakened my desire
to not only draw closer to the Lord but to really implement what He is showing me/calling me to do. One of the easiest things for me to do is to make excuses in my mind for why I’m not following through with
what God is showing me to do – and listening and believing those “excuses.” This retreat, with Doug and Kevin’s teaching – and – the prayer time at the end – really called me to the “front lines” of the battleand to begin, once again, to look for the daily and long term opportunities God is going to give me to employ the spiritual gifts He has given me. The fellowship and teaching gave me the “retreat” I needed to “advance.” Claire Adare
